6010 vs 7018 for training welders...Looks might be one thing...

The 6010 welding rod is the thing to get beginners to start on first.
If you start them on it, and they get the welds looking good, then when they try 7018, it will be ultra easy.

If they started on 7018 and they want a challenge, try getting 6010 looking good.
