base chart on voltage,wire speed, metal thickness

am looking for a reference chart for welding steel. ie: voltage,wire speed, & thickness of material. knowing that all machines, act different, just because what the dial says is not likely what your going to get. but a small reference chart would help to start. then a little trial and error to find the right combination...
