I agree with the person above.
Plus... 6G is a position not a code or test. 6G has nothing at all to do with the material, welding process, groove, filler metal etc...
any pipe can be in a 6G position

i assume you will be welding under asme section b31.3. if you have tested under 31.3 then it should be no problem providing that your papers are current. my concern is that if you need to ask this question are you really qualified to work a boiler code job
