Still working on Jody's uphill technique but my welds look like "fidos ass"
Ran some welds on some big gate hinges with my weldtech 200 downhill and they were not to bad.
You need to crank up the heat.

i can't believe the controversy between the can't weld pipe (or anything) down-hill and the everything has to be up-hill school's of thought! so many experienced welder's insist you can't weld pipe downhand~ go figger!
