Along with many others here, I have found it hard to part with $3k for an american machine. I ordered up an Eastwood 220 Tig. Originally, it was the older style Blue machines. Mine was dead on arrival. Eastwood stands behind their products 100%, with a no questions asked policy! I'm Pretty sure the Fed-Ex guy dropped the first one. Anyway, i got my 2nd newer style BLACK machine, hooked up my 220v, and it has been running excellent! I'm a welder by trade building Nuclear Submarines, and this machine welds as well as the miller tigs we use. It doesn't have as much adjustability as the more $ machines, but it welds 1/4" aluminum in a single pass no problem. I've had it for about 4 months now and am impressed so far. Excellent value based on $699 sale price.
Has anyone else used this machine?
