Flux Core Welding

Flux core welding is this the same as mig welding,but without the gas,am looking at a new job and the weld test is a 2G and 3G flux core test,I have 25 years of tig,mig,stick welding,will i have a problem with this flux core welding.

Everything takes a little practice to get the settings right and the technique down, but for someone with mig and stick experience, you will pick it up quickly,,,someone could show you in 5 minutes.

you may be able to pass a test without practice, but a few minutes with someone who knows how, will be worth whatever it costs.
