help with mig and fluxcore settings

i just got out of school for welding and i forgot a few key things. i just needed to ask how many amps do i set for mig and fluxcore n what should the wire speed be at for these processes?

in the upper right of the page there is a weld calculator for bare wire mig and also for flux core....click on either and enter thickness of metal etc.

its only a starting point and generally each setting is a little hot for anything but production work but it is a good place to start.

you will quickly learn how to factor in your own techniques and trim the wire speed back to a sweet spot.
