how long do I backpurge a pipe to get 0 % oxygen in the pipe?
We are welding titanium and need to make sure the back purge gas has completely filled the vessel before we strike an arc. We have purchased an oxygen analyzer but it has not been received yet.
Do you have a chart or some type of reference material for suggested purge times based on the diameter and length of a pipe?
