Miller , Lincoln China welders

What's the beef? Both Miller and Lincoln are now china made welders, or at least some, or so I hear. So if you want a good american made welder it needs to be older. I've never owned a china welder, but the other power equipment I've owned from china is pretty much XB3. (use it till it quits and throw it away).
You may never see a 50+ year old ( Lincoln Idealarc 250) China welder. Good luck.
