Miller , Lincoln China welders

by Larryc

What's the beef? Both Miller and Lincoln are now china made welders, or at least some, or so I hear. So if you want a good american made welder it needs to be older. I've never owned a china welder, but the other power equipment I've owned from china is pretty much XB3. (use it till it quits and throw it away).
You may never see a 50+ year old ( Lincoln Idealarc 250) China welder. Good luck.

MILLER China Welders NEW
by: Anonymous

To my knowledge, Miller made a specific range of welders in China for domestic China sales. The made-in-China ranges are never meant for export to other countries.
We have been buying Miller for umpteen years and it has always been from the States, never were there any from China nor were there any Chinese characters on its boxes.

Miller, Made in China NEW
by: Anonymous

Just un-boxed a brand new Miller Dynasty 280 DX. The label on the top of the box says "assembled in the USA, and right under that is Chinese writing. If it did not come from China, why is there Chinese writing on the label?

Barf on Miller!
