Last year eastwood was selling this combo for $999.99, so with shiping i got both the TIG 200 machine and the plasma cutter for $1052.00!!! How do they work? so far very good. My 1st week of playing around with them i had them running on 110 volt service. They were both good for welding/cutting up tp 3/16" of any material. Now hooked up with a deicated 220 volt line i have plasma cut 3/8" mild steel with ease. The TIG is good for 10 up to 200 amps and i have been teaching myself welding aluminium with it and can say that 1/16th to 1/8" it does a fine job. I did some 1/4" thick stainless welds that came out beautiful. If you are looking to expand your capablities and stay under $1300.00 these are to great machines in my opinion.

great welder for the price NEW
by: stacks

i have had an eastwood tig for over three years now i use it every chance i get. i have no complaints.i also agree with the the comment on eastwood customer service. it is very good. i also have a miller 300dx with a water cooled torch. its a top of the line welder with more settings than i will ever use. every welder has its own personality, but useing the same settings you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two machines.one advantage of the eastwood is the torch switch. it comes in handy for out of position welding and creating a poor mans pulse welder.

Eastwood Tig 200 NEW
by: Anonymous

Just about thru my second 125 cf tank of argon and the machine has done really well...I have never tig welded before so I'm in the early stages of learning. This site has been a big help. I have been welding a lot of mild steel 1/8" and 1/4" plate, angle and square tubing for my welding table, bench, and mig cart. I did probably 30 beads on some 1/8" alum. which went pretty well. I will say that the argon reg I got sucks and so does the torch hose cover. I need to upgrade those after just one month.

by: Neil

So just wanted to post that my Eastwood 200 TIG machine(older blue style) is still working beatutifully after 5 months. I have been using it mostly for stainless steel because a bottle of Argon is 1/4 the price of the Tri-Mix i used to buy to use my MIG welder.I saw one other user of Eastwoods TIG, anyone else ?
Neil
p.s. i will try to remeber to use spell check, other wise i will be "self Imployeed" forever
