New to welding.

Jody, your hints and tips have helped me tremendously! Thanks for the site. I was able to practice some of the things you talk about and a few days later, welded an extension to my dog gate. It consisted of 1/4'' square tubing and 3/8'' round bar and ,aside from some not so great welds here and there, looks like a continuous, sold gate. some grinding and matching paint really helped. also, changing out the stock clamp for a copper one made a huge difference. I noticed it because i changed it out halfway through the project. Now trying to create and do new projects. Thanks again!
