I am looking into purchasing the Lincoln square 175 Tig welder. This is my 1st tig...oh and I dont really know how to weld. I would like to play around and learn at the same time. What Tig machine would you recommend for a newbie? And I am looking into taking some welding classes locally.

There are lots of options but
the lincoln square wave 175 would be a pretty good choice for a first machine.

later on, if you get into any aluminum thicker than 3/16" , you might need more amperage.
