nr 232 settings
by: Jody

sorry cant help with settings for certain passes and cover passes etc, but this will at least let you know if you are balanced with voltage and wire feed.

one more thing, make darn sure your polarity is right. DC electrode negative for nr 232

Innershield nr 232 voltage and wire speed in ipm E71T-8
.068" 0.072"
ipm voltage ipm voltage
110 19 80 17
130 20 140 19
150 21 155 20
170 22 170 21
195 23 250 23
250 24 290 25
320 27

to determine ipm, inches per minute...
pull the trigger and count off seconds...thousand one, thousand two etc...
Measure how much wire came out and round up to he next full inch and add a zero.

example :
if 10 1/2 inches comes out in six seconds, call it 11 and add a zero. 110 inches a minute.
