Q...what are the numbers designated for the horizontal and vertical positions?


A...2f is horizontal fillet, 2g is horizontal groove
3f is vertical fillet, 3g is vert groove.


Q...should you quench stainless steel and why?

A...generally you dont want to quench anything but sometimes for stainless,its actually good... it will help prevent carbide precipitation.

Q...what happens if u use a steel wire brush to clean stainless steel?

A...iron and carbon particles will cause rust.
