rolling the cup

i am having a major problem with rolling the cup, i know how to walk the cup, but how do you get the cup to roll on a vertical lap joint or a vertical corner joint? is there a video demonstration of this technique?

I dont even try to walk or roll the cup for these type of joints. I figure a way to hold the torch comfortably and rest a pinky or other finger using a tig finger and it slides along pretty well. You can also cut a thumb out of a heavy stick welding glove...here is a video link
