Shortening afterflow time

I just bought the new Lincoln squarewave 175 tig machine. I am wondering whether it is possible from a mechanical standpoint, to shorten the afterflow time from the pre-set of 15 seconds?

I dont think it will be quick and easy. but maybe possible. It would take some extensive electrical work to add a timer and adjustment.
