What can be a total angle of a single V-Groove weld made with 3/4 backing inch steel and to be welded in the vertical position with a root opening of 1/4 inch?

The test weld per AWS D1.1 is usually done using coupons that are beveled to a 22.5 degree bevel plus or minus 2.5 degrees.

That would make the maximum included angle 50 degrees.
