I'am about to take a test at school for open v-grove welding and i'am having trouble with my overhead part could u give me any tips on this please.or any tips on open v-grove welding at all.
---------------------------------------------------
here are some tips for your overhead
1. use enough amperage to hold a really tight arc without the rod sticking
2. once the puddle gets going, keep a really tight arc
3. use as close to a 90 degree angle as possible...even a slight push helps
good luck bro,
