Welder/Fabricator Job Description:

My client, an industrial manufacturing facility in Wilsonville, OR is currently hiring experienced structural or H/D Steel welder/fabricators. Qualified candidates must carry experience working with

* At least 5 years recent experience as a structural welder/fabricator
* Skills to read blueprints, schematics and specifications
* Able to set up own weld station and perform their own fabrication.
* Recent experience working on primarily H/D steel and ARC welding.
* Pass welding test

Job Duties:
* Read schematics and specifications.
* Recognize characteristics of metals or alloys.
* Understand manufacturing methods and techniques.
* Use hand tools including grinders, cutters, polishers, and wrenches.
* There is a fair amount of layout involved as well.

Available shifts are on the day and swing shift
