can i use compressed gas with only 90% argon

pure argon is the way to go.
you cant use the same mixes as work with mig

For sure 100% Argon. Do not use 75-25 , or 98-2. We use a tri mix Blue Shield 20 but very expensive. 100% Argon works just fine.
