Your response to a general question concerning GiantTech’s CT520D

In you response to a question above concerning your thoughts on a GiantTech CT520D you did our company a great disservice by lumping us together with all the other Chinese machines. If you had taken the time to do a Google search on GiantTech you'd not find any complaints from our customers. What you'll find a lot of is us trying to help customers with bad machines from other sellers. We take great pride in the fact that we inspect and test all our machines before shipping to our customers and that our factory is working with us to constantly improve the product. You see we are not your typical importer/reseller who just ships whatever the factory sends them without as much as even powering the units up for a quick test.

the issue here is not the machine but the ethics of the business owner,larry. i have had a problem with my plasma cutter, which is still under warranty(the selling point for me to buy this machine), but after initial contact with larry he wont answer emails or return calls to his service dept.ever heard of a service dept that only has an answering machine? the only option i have now is to file internet fraud charges (which i would suggest everyone who has had any trouble with gianttech to do),then i will follow up with a civil suit to recoup my money.thanks larry for your "excellent" service.

AVOID ! DO NOT BUY GiantTech welder/ cutter unit

Hello Guys I'm a new to this forum and i'm really glad that i found this place. A little late but as they say better late then never. I purchased a GiantTech welder plasma cutter combo unit of eBay, got it a week later in a fairly timely manner. Once i got a unit i realized i received a plasma cutter not a combo unit that i purchased originally. Since i had a project to finish that weekend i hooked up the unit to cut some brackets and then after 5 minutes of using, it stopped working. I contacted GiantTech over eBay which i did not get a response then i had no choice but to open up a claim with eBay resolution center. Only then i got a reply from GiantTech blackmailing me that the only way he will give me a refund if i will remove a negative feedback that i placed. I start doing more research on GiantTech and despite good feedback on ebay i found that many people having many complains with him not taking care of warranty claims , one guy didn't even get his unit back from "warranty" after 6 month ! I am still trying to fight him to get my money back for wrong model he send that also was a DOA . Guys please be AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO YOU HOMEWORK WELL BEFORE BUYING A IMPORT UNIT !! See this forum for all the people that got screwed by this company !

In response to the above statement from Giant tech i would just like to warn any potential buyers about these welders and in particular Larry who sells them just search weldingweb.com to see just how dishonest this character is . His Warranty is worth absolutely nothing as are his Welders .
