6013 rods are an excellent choice for welding railings and for vertical down welding on sheet metal. as for the sarcastic comments regarding 6013 usage, as a serious forum for exchanging knowledge these kind of immature "comments" have no place here!

12s best for down hand 13's are great just need right angle and the slag is great to get off and if you can get it right and finish it right you can have it curl and some times you dont even need to chip the slag off, the guy is a wank that says they not any good, he just not good welder
