Aluminum Powered Paraglider Trike

Just thought I'd share a recent project. A friend wanted a custom built aluminum trike to mount his powered paraglider motor and wing.

He wanted it comfortable and built for his size as well as light weight.

It was a very challenging project for me having limited tools (cheap tube bender and hole saw for coping the tube). All of the welding was done with an older Miller Syncrowave 250. My friend was very happy and flies this at least once a week. I love this site and have recommended all of our welders where I work to visit here.
