bit of dish washing liquid in water and sprayed with an atomizer bottle works fairly good on mild steel as an anti-splatter when mig welding.It's not 100% but better than none, cheap and readily available. Also spray on cooking oil such as canola oil works to stop splatter build up in your nozzle.
