Any Position

When i first got into stick welding 16 years ago i worked for a guy who always bent his rod 90 degrees at the stinger, after days and days of watching him do this i finally asked what he did this for, He told me, Once you stick weld for a while you become comfortable holding the stinger in a certain position and by bending the rod at the stinger you can hold the stinger in a more comfortable position no matter 3,4, or 5G Needless to say i gave it a shot and 16 years later i still bend every rod at the stinger..
