mig welding problem

while using a 1/6 wire to weld pass after pass my wire burns deep holes while welding vertical. what can i do to prevent this?

I am going to assume you meant 1/16 wire.

that is pretty big wire to weld vertical uphill.

you should probably try to use settings that are on the low end for that size wire.
