slope control

whats the slope in and slope out used for? and what are ther'e benefits

wtt replies,

the upslope and downslope are primarily used when a torch switch or trigger is used so that you have some control over the arc and so that you dont get all your amp setting at once.

the upslope gives you time to adjust and position before you get all the amperage you have chosen.

the downslope tapers the arc to prevent a crater hole or crack.

this just mimicks what you would do with foot pedal control.

if you use a foot control, you dont need upslope/downslope.
