Tungsten Sizes

im using 1/8 tungsten with 3/32 filler welding ss 316 and Inconel625 at 55-80 amps wanted to know would using a smaller tungsten help in anyway or does it pretty much stay the same at low amperages?

by the way love the vids and your post are really helpful.

its usually best to use pretty much as small a diameter electrode as you can within reason. . arc starts are crisper and there is more control a low amperage with arc wandering.

that said, if what you are doing is working just fine, I would not recommend changing anything.
