what is proper way to apply anti splatter spray in mig welding

what is the proper way to aply anti-splatter spray, and how offen do you re-apply, and does Pam really work?

Pam works for me, but I often dont use anything.

whatever anit spatter you use, apply it sparingly, and wait a minute for it to dry
