Number of coupons needed to qualify a welder

How many test coupons are needed to qualify a welder on a filler metal test. He is already qualified to weld but need to test him on a P43 filler metal ?

Assuming this is a ASME code question,

I dont have access to a ASME section IX book right now because I am on the road without my external hard drive.

anyone out there got this?
