Radiation Protection Specialist

We use the sharpeners at our nuclear plant due to the fact that the thorium added to tungsten is radioactive. If you throw it all over the place with a grinder it shows up as loose contamination when we do swipe surveys, plus the workers are inhaling/ingesting it.
If you keep from spreading it in the first place it's easier to control.
