stainless mig certification

Is there a cert. for testing welders for mig welders other than double bevel plates?

If the welding is being done to a code, then that code most likely provides for many different levels of certification all the way down to a simple fillet weld t joint .

if the welding is not governed by a code, and you are just practicing due diligence, certifying to the task is wise.

in other words, the test weld should represent the most commonly performed welds.
