Amperage

How do you figure amps when all the power sources show is wire speed and volts?

that my friend is a great question and also kind of a pet peeve.

why would welding power source manufactures list amperage when you can read amperage?

you would have to make an inline meter to check amperage and that is just not practical.

I always just rely on wire feed speed and then adjust voltage for a good arc.

that is just dumb.
