Dual Inductor mig

I have got a unimig 250 that has 2 earth lead connections.
One is hi inductance & other is lower inductance.
Mainly use hi one, have tried low one with poor results.

What is the purpose of having 2 earth connections, instructions that came with welder are useless.

Any info welcomed.

inductance setting controls how soft or harsh the arc is..
depending on the gas used, thickness of metal etc,

Use low inductance with 100% CO2 on mild steel; use high inductance for use on stainless with mixed gas or on heavy materials. Use either terminal for aluminum spray MIG welding with an exceptionally smooth arc and great starts.
