Dualshield or Pulse?

Which is will produce the better weld, pulse or dualshield? Been away from the trade for a while and it was always my experience that the E71T1 weld was less flexible than the others and could cause more base metal cracking.

there are a lot of factors to consider...

it is possible for E71t1 to absorb moisture and therefore introduce hydrogen to the weld and cause cracking on high strength steel or thick steel.


pulse spray transfer is a good process but harder to dial in and not as efficient on metal deposition.

its apples and oranges i guess...depends on the application
