failed 1g mig test on a36 plate

I took the 1 g cert. test plate,one side bend passed one did not,weld pulled away from one side. do not understand why on practice plates the same issues arise.

I have tried different parameters according to what I information I have been able to find.

Can you help?

1 g is harder than 3g if you ask me.

stay on the hot side of the recommended settings

keep the arc at the leading edge of the puddle

dont trap yourself in a corner by stacking the second to the last bead too tight.
