oxy acetalyne over mig weld

Hello my name is Sam. I made a motorcycle frame. i and don't have a tig, so I mig welded alot of it just so it stays together and looks like a frame. i know you can tig over mig weld just with the torch. i was wondering if you can use an oxy accetalyne torch to get the same desired affects? thanks.

if you are talking about tack welding with a mig and then gas welding it, that is not a problem.

i dont think there are any real benefits to going over mig welds with a gas welding torch. if the mig welds are bad, going over them is not going to make them much better.
