STICK WELDING CARBON STEEL 11GA 6013 1/8" rod  LAP 110 AMPS DCEN

6013 rods are designed for welding on either AC or DCEP, or DCEN.

There are some slight differences with each polarity but not as much as you might think.

DCEN usually gets slightly less penetration so is recommended for thinner metals.

IF all you have is an AC stick welder like an old Lincoln Tombstone, that will work just fine too.

TIPS: DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS ELECTRODES REQUIRE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AMPERAGE SETTINGS.

THIS DEMO AT 110 AMPS SHOULD GET YOU IN THE BALL PARK. TWEAK AMPS FROM THAT POINT AND ADJUST ARC CONTROL TO FIT THE SITUATION
