if you weld tube and fill with filler then cap with stick will it leak and will it pass x-ray?

if its done right it wont leak and will pass x ray.

but there are no guarantees....

certain thickness are better to just tig all the way especially if there is risk of blowing through.

even though stick is considered a lot faster, sometimes its not. sometimes a joint can be tigged all the way out just as fast or faster when you consider cleaning, possible grinding, and possible x ray failures.
