TIG WELD WITHOUT DOOM

I want to weld 1mm SS with full tig weld. But once i weld the sheet dooms up. I want a answer for this that, how can i weld it fully without any doom in the sheet.

I am assuming the word doom is distortion...

sad truth is you will always have some.

to minimize distortion in a butt weld, a gap will allow the pieces to shrink without buckling.

otherwise, a heavy fixture and chill bars might help.
