Tip for restarting 7018 rod

When you get ready to break the arc as you weld with 7018 electrodes just flick your wrist a little when you break the arc and the slag ball will flick out of it. When you get ready to restart just pinch the cone off of the end of the rod and you are ready to go again. Just make sure your gloves are not covered with grease when you do it :o)
