Underwater Welding

by James
(OKC, OK)

First off, I would like to say thank you for all the trouble you have gone through to make all this awesome information available to everyone. I am a commercial diver also more commonly known as an underwater welder. I worked offshore for 3 years before coming inland, and starting work in Oklahoma. I have gotten into MIG welding and flux core here on land, and have bitten the bullet and decided to do it dry from now on. I have a 6G test tomorrow and your site has been so helpful, so I must thank you again. I don't mean to knock your underwater welding section, but some of the information the oceaneering guys has given is a little embellished. I can give you the inside story if you like. If not thank you again, and I've thrown in a picture of me after retrieving a dredge cutter head in Oklahoma winter. The cutter head is in the background.
