Hey Jody,
I work in the film Biz so I can research and do some testing. Basically it would involve the use of what is called neutral density filters to bring the light intensity down to a photographable level AND a color correcting filter to get the colors looking good. I'll play with my filters and let you know what I find out. If you want to experiment, go to the Rosco website and ask them for a swatch book of all their gels. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll get one for ya.
