What is this?

Jody, what in the Hound is this, all this crud that gets up in the cup and on the electrode. I've pushed the electrode out to get a better shot of the accumulation. Check out all the junk on the inside rim of the cup too.

wow, that sucks. I am not sure what it is.

possibly some moisture in the argon, or crap in metal is jumping on the electrode
