6G ASME B31.3 certification and underwater welding industries

IM starting my underwater diving school in Feb.

i was thinking about getting my 6G ASME B31.3 certification since im trying hit myself with a good offshore underwater welding job,should this help me get a good underwater job with this certification or is there something else that might help me succeed in the underwater industries?

Couldnt hurt, might help.

you cant be sure. In any job market, you are competing with other applicants.

so if you can interview well, and pass tests, having an extra cert or two can sometimes make a difference.
