Uhh...

by Mac
(MD)

I clamped a spare Dremel, with a 15 dollar diamond wheel, in a vise at about the height of my chin on my storage bench. I spin the electrode in my bare left hand through my TIG gloved right hand (I'm a lefty). I have the Dremel mounted on the extreme right hand side of the vise so I can use the left hand portion of the vise jaws to prop my wrists.
I grind my electrodes on a grey wheel, and polish them on the diamond wheel. The Dremel brand diamond wheel has lasted months with no end in sight.
Also, the difference between my polished arc and my 'ground' arc is negligible under most circumstances.
