STICK WELD UPHILL CARBON STEEL 3/8" WITH 5/32" 7018 RODS 3F TEE
If you need to pass a structural weld test, sometimes 5/32" 7018 uphill is specified so I hope this video helps

TIPS:SET THE AMPERAGE HOT ENOUGH TO NOT STICK THE ROD WHEN YOU HOLD A TIGHT ARC…THEN HOLD A TIGHT ARC.
DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS ELECTRODES REQUIRE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AMPERAGE SETTINGS.
AMPERAGE SHOWN SHOULD GET YOU IN THE BALL PARK.
TWEAK AMPS FROM THAT POINT AND ADJUST ARC CONTROL TO FIT THE SITUATION.
FOR THIS WELD ARC FORCE WAS SET HIGH TO ALLOW USING FAIRLY LOW AMPERAGE FOR A 5/32" 7018
