TIG Welding Aluminum Edge Beads
Primeweld TIG325x Videos
I like the digital readout feature on the primeweld tig 325x. It makes setting pulse rates easier.

I have several beads to run on the edge of some 3/16" thick aluminum so I brought you along with me.
The first bead is welded using 150hz on the AC frequency control.
150hz worked very well for welding a bead next to an edge so I tried it directly on the edge too.
Then I increased the AC frequency setting to 250hz to see if there was a noticeable difference.
I used the primeweld 325 for this video along with a #6 gas lens cup from a weldmonger 9/20 torch gas lens kit.
3/32" 2% lanthanated tungsten
4043 1/8" filler metal
